Jean’s BBQ Sauce & Ribs

Ingredients:[ad#ad-1]
-1/2 c. chopped onion
-1/2 tsp. pepper
-4 tsp. sugar
-4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
-1 tsp. Tabasco
-1/2 c. vinegar
-1/2 c. ketchup
-1/4 c. water
-1 tsp. dry mustard
-1 tsp. paprika
-2 tbsp. butter
Brown onions in butter, mix in other ingredients and bring to boil. Brown ribs and pour off fat. Pour sauce over ribs and bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees.

Barbecue Sauce (Spare Ribs, Chicken, Meatloaf)

Ingredients:[ad#ad-1]
-1 c. chopped onion
-1/3 c. salad oil
-Saute onion in oil until soft. Add:
-3 tbsp. brown sugar
-4 tsp. dry mustard
-1 tsp. salt
-1/2 tsp. pepper
-3 tsp. paprika
-1 1/2 c. catsup
-1 c. water
-3/4 c. vinegar
-3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
-Few drops hot pepper sauce
-2 cloves garlic, chopped
Simmer 15 minutes. Keeps indefinitely in refrigerator. Makes 1 quart.

Spare Ribs Sauce

Combine and simmer 20 minutes:[ad#ad-1]
-1 c. water
-4 tbsp. vinegar
-2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
-1/2 c. lemon juice
-4 tbsp. brown sugar
-2 bottles chilies sauce
-1 tsp. salt
-1/2 tsp. paprika
