Baby Back Ribs With Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

-1 beef cube

-1 tbsp. soy sauce

-1/3 c. brown sugar

-Baby back ribs

-1 c. boiling water

-1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Melt cube in boiling water. Stir in other ingredients. Cut ribs into bite-size pieces. Put in sauce, cover and refrigerate overnight. Cook slowly, covered tightly until sauce is used up. Stir often and ribs will be coated when done.

Barbecue Sauce for Ribs or Chicken

Heat oven to 350 degrees.


_2 lbs. ribs
Brown and drain ribs.

SAUCE:
-1 onion, diced
-1 tbsp. butter
-1 tbsp. vinegar
-2 tbsp. lemon juice
-2 tbsp. brown sugar
-1/2 c. catsup
-1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
-1/4 tsp. dry mustard
-1 c. water or white wine
-1 tbsp. celery salt

Brown onions in butter and add rest of ingredients. Pat browned ribs in roaster pan. Pour the sauce over. Baste often until done.

Spare Ribs with Honey Barbecue Sauce

-3 lb. lean spare ribs

Cut spare ribs into serving pieces. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and garlic powder. Place in a shallow baking pan. Roast at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Brush ribs with honey barbecue sauce. Continue to bake and baste ribs until they are tender and beautifully glazed, about 1 hour more.

HONEY BARBECUE SAUCE:
-2 cloves garlic, crushed
-1 c. honey
-1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
-1/2 c. ketchup
-1 tbsp. vinegar
-2 tsp. Dijon style mustard
-1 tbsp. soy sauce
-3 tbsp. brown sugar

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Store leftover sauce in the refrigerator. Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of sauce.

Goes great on chicken also!
